There's a gigantic fork in the road of my life and up 'til now, I've been allowing it to skew my perspective. I've been trying really hard to assimilate all facets of my deepest nature, my soul, my heart, what matters most and also what I want and need in my life in order to be the best "me" that I can be. Frankly, it's worn me down and worn me out in more ways than one and I seem to be accomplishing little with this strategy except banging my furry little head repeatedly and painfully into the gargantuan fork in my road.
That being said, I'm finally willing to accept that I don't NEED to experience all aspects of my life at every moment. There really is a time and a place for some things and others CAN be put on the back burner without being completely forgotten. Just realizing that has helped me feel a bit freer, as if a weight has been lifted.
But what the realization will mean in the long-run, especially here in our spanking good corner of cyberia, has yet to be determined. But it's a long, winding road that lies before me, so I'm not jumping off any precipices or leaping to any conclusions, at least not yet. After all, one of the most remarkable certainties is that Tiggrs bounce!

I've never been much of a voyeur. Yes, I know, it's one of my shortcomings.

Sounds to me like a 'mid-life crisis', depending on your age. But, like Yogi Berra said - "I came to a fork in the road, so I took it!"
Oh I can relate to the whole fork in the road thing and to the part about needing all things at once. I'm learning about balance and moderation, until recently two very foreign concepts to me.
Good luck on your long and winding road, and I hope you continue to bring us along where ever go.

It would be nice if we where all born with a built in sat nav for times like this. Whatever it is that you are facing, I hope you choose the right path.

I usually find the path I should take is the harder one...
